At Wodpap Impex, compliance is not a legal obligation we manage around it is a core operating principle embedded into every trade, every supplier relationship, and every market we enter. This page outlines our commitments across the key compliance domains that govern international commodity trading.

1. Our Compliance Commitment

Wodpap Impex operates across more than 20 countries spanning Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. This geographic breadth requires us to navigate a complex web of national laws, international treaties, and industry standards. We are committed to full compliance with all applicable regulations and to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.

2. Export Controls & Trade Sanctions

Wodpap Impex complies strictly with all applicable export control laws and trade sanctions regimes, including:

• UAE Federal Law on Combating Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing
• United Nations Security Council sanctions resolutions
• UAE Ministry of Economy trade control regulations
• EU, US OFAC, and UK OFSI sanctions where applicable to our trade partners or transactions

We conduct sanctions screening on all counterparties, end-users, and destinations prior to the execution of any trade. No transactions are processed with parties listed on applicable sanctions lists. Our trade compliance team reviews new and evolving sanctions designations on an ongoing basis.

3. Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption

Wodpap Impex has a zero-tolerance policy toward bribery and corruption in all its forms. This applies to all employees, directors, agents, intermediaries, and third parties acting on our behalf.

Our policy is consistent with:

• UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 31 of 2021 on Issuance of the Crimes and Penalties Law
• The UN Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC)
• UK Bribery Act 2010 principles (applied to transactions involving UK counterparties)
• US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) principles (applied where relevant)

No employee or representative of Wodpap Impex is authorized to offer, promise, give, request, or accept anything of value to improperly influence a business decision or official act. Facilitation payments are prohibited without exception.

4. Anti-Money Laundering (AML)

We maintain robust AML controls designed to prevent the proceeds of criminal activity from entering or being laundered through our trade operations. Our AML framework includes:

• Know Your Customer (KYC) verification for all new trading partners and buyers
• Ongoing due diligence on existing counterparties, particularly for high-value or high-risk trade routes
• Monitoring for unusual payment structures, third-party payments, and over/under-invoicing indicators
• Suspicious activity reporting to relevant authorities where required
• Staff training on AML red flags and reporting obligations

5. Environmental Compliance

Our environmental compliance program operates at two levels: regulatory compliance and voluntary best-practice standards that exceed minimum requirements.

Regulatory Compliance

• Full compliance with UAE environmental protection legislation and Dubai Municipality standards
• Compliance with the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES) for timber and forest products
• Adherence to international phytosanitary standards (ISPM) for wood and plant-based materials

Voluntary Standards

• FSC Certification Forest Stewardship Council chain-of-custody certification for all timber and paper products
• ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certification across our operations
• Zero Waste Initiative Active programs to minimize operational waste in logistics and packaging
• Carbon Neutral 2030 Commitment to achieving carbon-neutral operations by 2030

6. Supplier Code of Conduct

We hold our suppliers to standards that mirror our own. All suppliers and trading partners engaged by Wodpap Impex are required to comply with our Supplier Code of Conduct, which covers:

• Labour standards No child labour, no forced labour, freedom of association, fair wages, and safe working conditions consistent with ILO conventions
• Environmental standards Compliance with applicable environmental laws and, where possible, alignment with FSC, ISO 14001, or equivalent frameworks
• Anti-corruption Zero tolerance for bribery, kickbacks, or corrupt practices within the supply chain
• Transparency Full disclosure of subcontractors, material origins, and third-party relationships on request
• SEDEX membership Priority given to suppliers registered on the SEDEX ethical trade platform

Suppliers are subject to periodic audits, questionnaire assessments, and, where warranted, on-site inspections. Non-compliant suppliers are placed on probationary review, and persistent violations result in termination of the trading relationship.

7. Data Protection & Privacy

We comply with applicable data protection laws in the jurisdictions where we operate, including UAE data protection requirements. Our handling of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which sets out how we collect, process, store, and share personal information in connection with our business activities.

8. Training & Internal Oversight

Compliance is a shared responsibility across the Wodpap Impex organization. We maintain:

• Annual compliance training for all staff involved in trade operations, finance, and procurement
• A designated compliance function responsible for policy development and monitoring
• Regular internal audits of trade files, payments, and counterparty screening records
• Board-level oversight of compliance risk as part of our corporate governance framework
• Periodic review and updating of compliance policies in response to regulatory changes

9. Reporting Concerns

If you are a Wodpap Impex employee, partner, supplier, or third party and have a concern about potential compliance violations including bribery, sanctions evasion, labour abuses, or environmental violations we encourage you to report it promptly.

10. Governing Standards & Updates

This compliance framework is reviewed and updated annually, or more frequently in response to material changes in applicable law, regulatory guidance, or our business operations. The standards described on this page reflect our current practices and commitments as of June 2026.
